The offline course "Dynamic Interpretation of the Latest Environmental Protection Regulations in 2024 and Corporate Response" was held by Huace Testing, with the active participation of our technicians.
On October 18th, 2024, from 13: 00 to 17: 00 pm, in Changzhou Jinling Jiangnan Hotel, Huace Testing hosted an offline course with the theme of "Dynamic Interpretation of the Latest Environmental Protection Regulations in 2024 and Corporate Response". Our technical engineers Wang Yun, Wang Gong and Zhang Mei Zhang Gong participated in this course and gained a lot.
During the activity, the control of PFOA, PFAS and its related salts in downstream finished products by EU REACH regulations became a focus topic. Although there is no mandatory requirement in the EU that finished products made by downstream enterprises should not contain PFAS and its related salts, relevant proposals have prompted major downstream producers to take precautions in advance, which undoubtedly brings great challenges to midstream producers. Some experts predict that fluorine may be completely banned after 2030, and it may be carried out in different fields and in different time, which is another serious challenge for enterprises.
Regarding how enterprises should deal with this situation, Wang Gong and Zhang Gong said that our company has been actively exploring the road. Whether it is to develop fluorine-containing products in which PFAS and related salts are under control, to substitute fluorine completely, or to substitute some existing fluorine-containing mixed waxes without fluorine, our company is making continuous efforts. At present, our company has developed high-quality customers in some products. They believe that in the future, our company can actively respond to international calls and develop more good products that satisfy customers.
This course provides an important platform for enterprises to understand the latest environmental laws and regulations. Through this study, our company has a deeper understanding of the future environmental laws and regulations. We will continue to pay attention to environmental laws and regulations, and constantly strengthen technology research and development, improve product quality, and make full preparations for meeting the challenges of environmental laws and regulations.
